What we checked

• Stars. 1,408 stars on the mikehasa/golive-skill repository, counted on GitHub by Ai Lately on November 7, 2026.
• Red flags. We read the 22 files this skill would put on your computer, looking for downloads that run on their own, hidden orders, reads of your keys and passwords, and code that phones home. The scan raised a flag, and a person read it and judged it harmless: a reference doc that names GoDaddy's own release installer for its CLI; an option, not a step.
• One fixed version. We checked commit 8fd3d8e. The link opens exactly that version. An author can change a skill later, so read SKILL.md before you install.
• What we did not do. We did not run it. A scan cannot prove a skill is safe.
