AI talent tracker: who moved between AI labs and companies

AI Lately's talent tracker: every AI hire, exit and board seat on the record, with a source, a date and a confidence label. Open the Signal, the Talent column and the company trackers.

AI Lately tracks AI talent as a board and a column. The board is the Signal, a record of every AI hire, exit, board seat, release and event, each with a source and a date. This page shows where to find who moved, between which labs and companies, and what the move signals.

The tracker, in four places

Signal board. ailately.com/signal lists each move with the person, destination, title, origin, date and source. Filter by company or kind. The last two weeks are open to everyone, and Pro members read the full archive and the yearly rosters of the biggest hires.

Talent column. At ailately.com/columns/talent, AI Lately reads the moves for recruiters, founders and anyone weighing a move. Its promise: know who moved, and what it signals, before the press release.

Company trackers. Each company in the Companies index carries a hires page and a departures page built from the Signal's moves.

People index. ailately.com/people gives each person covered a page titled from their latest move, with the pieces that mention them.

Every entry carries a label

Confirmed means a company announcement, a filing or the person's own public statement. Reported means reputable press citing sources. Inferred means a pattern-based read, and the entry says so.

What a move signals

A hire shows what capability a company just bought, a departure shows what it lost, and a board seat shows who it listens to. The weekly Signal brief ranks the biggest moves and asks one question of each: what capability did this company just buy, and what does that imply about the next twelve months?

Where the records come from

Executive moves at public companies appear in SEC Form 8-K Item 5.02 filings. Visa-based hires appear in Department of Labor disclosure files. Researchers appear on arXiv papers under new affiliations. The sources page links each one.
